The movie describes the historical narration of the siege that took place in San Antonio, Texas between February 23 to March 6, 1836. The battle saw a group of 183 Texans led by Colonel Travis, Davey Crockett, and Jim Bowie defending the old mission of the Alamo in the meantime transformed into a military fort, from the siege operated by the Mexican army, led by the dictator General Santa Anna. The second part of the movie describes the outcome of the battle of Jacinto (April 21 1836), where Santa Anna was defeated by general Sam Houston's Texan army, and gives to Texas its own independence..
